Hi! I'm Mark Luikart,
..A craftsman, designer and professional photographer. My design, woodworking and restoration skills have been featured in the march/april 2008 Edge magazine for my years of work on the Oliver Saeger house on Broad street in Saegertown Pa. A Painted Lady Victorian which won the 2005 Crawford County Historical Society Preservation Award. That work included reproducing and installing custom molding profiles, the repair, restoration and refinishing of hand carved doors, antique furniture, newel posts and floors, created by artisans in the late 1800's. Also included in the project were built in hutches, armoires, dressers and storage units, ceramic tile work and a kitchen with cherry cabinets, granite counter tops, custom made raised panel wainscot with fluted pilasters (also of cherry) and granite floor. Added to the house is a 16 sided porch with a Honduran mahogany floor, custom made fluted octagon columns, capitals, bases, railings, & balusters, a 1x4 beaded ceiling with 12" crown molding. A 22" tall exterior trim band comprised of thirteen molding profiles, with built in gutters and lighted stain glass window trims the top of the porch and continues another 40 some feet to include a bay window and another porch. Capping the trim band is parapet rail of custom railings, newel posts and balusters stretching over 160 feet.

..My photography passion and skills have won numerous awards for wildlife, nature & fine art, action and location portraits. Whether spending countless hours in camo awaiting wildlife photos of a hummingbird feeding babies, a rare blonde raccoon, an egret landing or waiting for perfect light to capture that priceless split second action shot or location portrait. I'll give a 110% effort to capture an image you will be proud to share with family and friends for many years to come.
